What you’ll do:
We are looking for a Safety Clerk who is enthusiastic, has outstanding organizational skills, a high attention to detail, and delivers excellent service. The Safety Clerk will assist in the ongoing development and administration of the Health and Safety Management program and in general administrative support to senior leadership.

Reporting to the HR/Safety Manager, the Safety Clerk will assist with:
  • Workplace inspections, investigations, and safety audits and plan site-specific implementation of COR initiatives
  • Monitoring safe work practices and procedures, hazard identification, policies/procedures, manuals, and forms throughout all locations
  • Maintaining records/logs of workplace accidents, hazards and near-misses
  • Coordinating and facilitating health and safety training for employees, maintaining training records, and ensuring safety permits are up to date
  • Presenting at Health and Safety committees and meetings
  • The employee onboarding process
  • WCB claims and Return to Work (RTW) programs
  • Creating/maintaining accurate files ensuring confidentiality at all times
  • Assist with benefits orientation for all staff and answer inquiries regarding benefits as needed
  • Travel to all Lakeland Co-op locations will be required. Company vehicle will be provided for work use.
Who you are:

Do you want to work a 7 on/7 off shift, and earn up to $55/flat rate hour which is 82K-120K+ per year?

Our unique dealership shift will allow you to enjoy a work-life balance to do the things you love. With the 7/7 shift we are expanding our shop due to increased demand. We are offering Journeyman $44/flat rate hour to start BUT our top trained Technicians are earning up to $55/flat rate hour. While we would love to bring someone onto our team that already has Chrysler experience and training, we're not afraid to invest in, and train our teammates to become the best in their field.

Key Accountabilities
  • Diagnose and repair problems within the prescribed flat rate allowances
  • Perform the necessary multipoint inspection as directed by the service advisor and management with all relevant repair and maintenance work
  • Advise the service advisor in writing of any additional work required using proper estimate sheets
  • Question any written problem on the repair order which is not clear or requires additional information or definition
  • Help maintain the shop in a clean condition overall including cleaning equipment that you use in performing your work and advising management immediately of any deficiencies that exist in either the shop or equipment so that corrections/repairs can be made
  • Maintain a good rapport with all other staff members and respect others workspace and tools
  • Flat rate repairs according to all data and account for all overlap. Follow accessory and menu price list for specific repairs on that list.
  • Adhere to all company safety requirements
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Looking for an experienced Class 3 driver with air brakes. Ideal for someone who is semi-retired as work can sometimes be sporadic. Candidates must be mechanically inclined and self-reliable. Must have reliable transportation to get to/from work location (Imperial Oil Cold Lake Facility) and experience working in the oilfield. Will be mostly 10 hr work days with a tandem axle dump truck.
