Xtreme Oilfield is looking for Coiled Tubing Unit Operators to join their team!

This position is primarily camp and hotel based, projects across Northern Alberta and BC with a 14/7 shift.

Responsibilities

Execution of field work encompassed in remediation and industrial maintenance projects
Operate various vehicles safely, including but not limited to Coil Tubing truck.
Drive an average of 30% of the time as well as work onsite as part of a team
Required as needed to facilitate training, provide coaching, mentoring and oversight to trainees
Completion of all job-specific required documentation
Ensure safe work and compliance to all Health and Safety policies
Qualifications

Class 1 Driver’s license with a clean abstract (Required)
Crane and Hoist Equipment Operator - Well Head Boom Truck apprenticeship (Required)
Operate a manual transmission (Required)
Ticket requirements: WHIMIS, Confined Space, CSO, H2S Alive, Hazard Assessment and First Aid
Minimum one (1) year of experience working in the oil and gas well servicing industry
Ability to perform work inside areas of varying dimensions, involving squatting and crawling for possible extended periods
The ability to safely drive and perform safety checks on all vehicles for which licensed
Must be able to understand and comply with company and client safety standards
Due to the diversity of both scheduled and non-scheduled projects, physical demands, and environmental conditions vary significantly depending on the project

Job Responsibilities
* Drive an average of 30% of the time as well as work onsite part of a team.
* Correct completion of all job-specific, employee-related, and equipment-related Xtreme Oilfield paper/electronic work including timesheets, daily work reports, driver logs, pre and post vehicle inspection and daily tailgate safety meeting forms.
*Ability to follow directions; read/speak and understand english; read and understand common danger cards/labels and hazardous warning literature including site safety plans.
*Work outside year round in all types of weather.
* Safety load/unload and delivery of fluid products while following proper procedures.
* May be exposed to varying levels of physical activities and physical extremes such as long periods of standing, walking, crouching, use of hands, and heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds or more.
Examples:
✓ Thread fittings into tank valves and open valves. 5-10 lbs of force needed.
✓ Must always be clean shaven to allow immediate donning and seal of respirator.
  • Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum valid Class 1 Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement and with a
clean abstract.
  • Must be able to effectively operate a manual transmission.
  • Possess valid industry, training certificates including, but not limited to Industry tickets such as
WHIMIS, Confined Space, CSO, H2S Alive, Hazard Assessment, First Aid
  • Minimum 1-year experience working in the oil and gas well servicing industry.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The Budget Officer is a key member of the Finance department and works alongside the Budget Office team and reports to the Senior Financial Analyst. This role works collaboratively in preparation of College annual budget, quarterly forecast, quarterly reporting, and annual financial statements. The nature and scope of this work has a College wide impact. Sound working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting is required. A thorough understanding of the College’s financial guidelines, processes and procedures is required.

Responsibilities include:
  • Budget Officer for Academics portfolio, such as: Credit programming, Continuing Education and Marketing.
  • Provides expert financial advice and support to Expenditure Officers ensuring financial resources are utilized in a cost-effective manner through budget reporting and meaningful variance analysis.
  • Responsible for enterprise workforce budget and forecasts as well as year end variance analysis.
  • Processing of journal entries and adjustments as required.
  • Reporting attribute and Expenditure Office set up and maintenance.
  • Flexible hours of work may include evenings and weekends during peak times.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business or a combination of education and experience equivalency.
  • Minimum three years of relevant or related experience in budgeting, accounting and financial reporting.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be proficient with computers, especially Excel. Advanced spreadsheet skill is preferred.
  • Self motivated and detail oriented.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Knowledge or experience working with Unit 4 would be an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and provide sound decision making.
  • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Successful applicant will be required to provide a current police information check.
